2010 Rmz 450
Anyone have experience with a 2010 RMZ-450?
Looking at buying a 2010 RMZ-450 and wanted to see if anyone has any experience with owning one over a period of time? I know they handle well and have smooth power. I had a 2009 RMZ-250 that I loved so I'm hoping this bike rides similarly. Any major/common issues would be helpful.

I have an 11 and i love it! I keep up on the maintenance and haven't had any problems

Ever since we got a Suzuki dealership around our area I am seeing them more and more. I have never heard of reliability issues. It's great as I ride an older one myself. I haven't heard of any issues from any year of bike until 2015 and the air forks. My buddy bought a '15 this last year and actually really enjoys the air forks - although he only rode them after getting them re-valved and set-up by FCR. OP - the 2010 would be a great bike and tons of guys around here love them. That article only compares it to KTM's, which makes it slightly biased (they never mentioned the KTM is also $1k more MRSP).

I had an 09 and it was a beauty. To be honest i only bought it because of the deal, and when i rode every 450s of a similar year, i found myself wanting different ergonomics. Solid bike with smooth delivery and i never had an issues with it. If you liked the 250 you'll feel at home on the 450

Thanks for the comments. I'm not going to be racing much anymore so it will just be a bike to play on weekends. It has suspension setup for a similar size and skill rider and some bolt ons so it should be good for me. I'm 6ft and 185lbs so the crf-250 I have now is a little lackluster coming out of turns sometimes

My friend has a 13 with 160+ hours on it and it runs like a champ. He loves that bike. I've never heard anyone who owns one complain at all
