Hi all , just bought a 2015 outlander MAX XT (don't have it yet ), does anyone know the length from the front of the atv to the center of the rear tire ? , Is the front bumper above bed heigth ? I need to put it in my pu and pull a travel trailer , bed is 78 in long .

That unit is right at 8 ft long. Sits up above 12+ inches , but I have the extreme front bumper on mine

A short box pick up and the rear tires are 6 inches onto the tailgate. With tailgate open I doubt you can make a turn with your trailer. A friend of mine is in the process of cutting down an old tailgate so he can haul both.

there are different lengths in shortbeds , chevy makes a 5 1/2 foot and a 6 1/2 foot one , mine is the 6 1/2 foot one.
can anyone measure from the front (whatever sticks out most) to the center of the rear wheel . I read somewhere one of a different year was 6 foot 5 inches , not sure if they changed anything.

I just measured my Max. 98" bumper to bumper, 78" from front bumper to center of rear wheels.

I have a 2015 max in fits on my p/u with 6 1/2 bed with tailgate down.....just watch out for your back window, have bumped mine a couple of times

thanks ! im making some extensions that bolt to the bed and sit on the bumper , should be good

This past winter, after riding the trails, my brother loaded his Polaris Sportsman Touring (the Max version) into the back of his 2014 F-150. Even though he used straps, he hit some severe frost heaves and his quad smashed out his rear window. 
He had a nice cold hour long ride home in February.

Put down a 6x6" at the front of your bed so your tires hit first before your bumper hits your back window.
